Everything a TRICONA girl needs
Trinity College Nabbingo is a Catholic girls’ boarding school in Wakiso, Uganda. Since 1942, the College has grown a campus where academic life, faith and boarding life sit side by side.
Classrooms from Senior One to Senior Six
Students receive daily instruction in classrooms across the College. Each O Level class, from S.1 to S.4, runs six streams, while A Level is organised into three streams: Arts, Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences.
In June 2023 the College opened a new classroom block, commissioned by the Minister of State for Higher Education, Hon. Dr John Chrysostom Muyingo, on behalf of the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni.

The Rev. Deo Memorial Library
The library is where students borrow books, consult reference materials and use other learning resources. Its collection supports both the new lower secondary curriculum and A Level study.

Well-equipped laboratories let students carry out practical experiments in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, so that what they learn in class comes alive at the bench.

Two computer labs, connected to the world
TRICONA has two computer labs, both equipped with computers and internet access. Students use them to build digital skills and reach online learning resources, while the second lab gives teachers a space for their own research.

A home away from home
As a boarding school, TRICONA gives students who live far from Nabbingo a safe residential community during the term. Every girl belongs to one of six houses, and A Level students stay in their own hostel.
The newest addition is the Pius Kaweere Dormitory Block, commissioned on 20 June 2025 by Hon. Joseph Ssewungu on behalf of the Vice-President, H.E. Jessica Alupo, during the College’s 83rd anniversary celebrations.

Building a new chapel together
The old 400-seat chapel, built by the White Fathers in the 1950s, could no longer hold a community of more than 2,300 students, so prayers often had to be held in shifts or in the open air. Construction of a new 2,500-seat chapel began in January 2025, and the first phase is now complete.
On 10 October 2026, parents, students, old girls, sister schools and friends of the College raised UGX 445 million in cash and pledges at a fundraising dinner. The College still needs about UGX 2.4 billion for the finishing and fittings, and every contribution helps.
