On Sunday 15th March 2026 the college was joined by the ladies under their Association TCNOGA – Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Association for their Annual Animated Thanksgiving Mass. The occasion, a cherished tradition at the school brought together former students and the current TRICONA community for a day of shared prayer, recognition, and renewed commitment to the values that define the might College.
The Mass and Homily
Rev. Fr. Achilles Mayanja, Cathedral Administrator of Lubaga Cathedral Parish was the the main celebrant. In his homily, he praised the college leadership for maintaining strong academic standards and commended the Old Girls for their steadfast support. He also addressed students preparing to transition to university, urging them to stay disciplined, God-fearing, and grounded in their moral and spiritual values amid the pressures that lie ahead.
A Gift to the Chaplaincy
TCNOGA presented a Chapel Musical Set valued at UGX 9 million to the school chaplaincy. The set, to be installed in the new chapel is intended to enrich the spiritual life of the TRICONA family. It was handed over by Miss Jesca Zziwa, representing TCNOGA President Solome Marie Nassiwa Lubowa a gesture that reflects the deep and enduring bond between the Old Girls and their alma mater.
Excellence Recognised
Ambassador Rossette Nyirinkindi Katungye graced the event as Chief Guest. A proud alumna of Trinity College Nabbingo, she applauded the students’ impressive academic results and expressed pride in the school’s continued contribution to national development.
Top students in UCE, UACE, and various subject departments were presented with awards in recognition of their efforts in upholding the college’s high academic standards.
Honouring our former Deputy Welfare and Administration
The gathering also took a moment to honour Ms. Akuwa Clemensia, who was presented with a gift in celebration of her promotion to Headteacher of St. Kizito Secondary School, Katikamu. Her achievement stands as a proud reminder of what Trinity College Nabbingo has always stood for excellence, leadership, and a life of service.
